    plans.
  • Teach players the importance of strategy, positioning, and decision-making
    during matches.
  • Prepare the team mentally and physically for each game, focusing on building confidence and resilience.

Communication:

  • Maintain open and consistent communication with players, parents, school
    staff, and the athletic director.
  • Provide updates on team progress, game results, and any relevant
    information to all stakeholders.
  • Address concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive relationship with
parents and the larger school community.

Safety and Ethics:

  • Ensure the safety of players during practices, games, and team activities.
  • Promote good sportsmanship, ethical behavior, and adherence to team and
    school rules.

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience, preferably in volleyball or a related sport.
  • Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, strategies, and fundamentals.
  • Enthusiasm for working with middle school student-athletes and a commitment to
    their development.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire players while maintaining a positive and inclusive
    team culture.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.

Certifications: (preferred, but not required)

  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
  • Coaching certifications from reputable organizations or governing bodies.
